Entire systems along with their design, installation, operation, and maintenance instructions are examined during testing to confirm performance under worst-case system conditions.
FM 5600 has undergone a revision with the following updates:
- Editorial and technical clarifications, including the incorporation of the latest technical decisions
- Addition of a vibration test for storage containers intended for horizontal transportation
- Addition of requirements for noise-reducing discharge nozzles in order to determine a worst-case sound power level value
- Addition of requirements for concealed discharge nozzles (e.g., those used in the protection of anechoic chambers)
