This new standard provides FM Approvals’ certification requirements for stored diesel fuel maintenance systems for applications such as fire pump drivers and emergency generators. These systems automate the removal of water, particulate, biological growth from the fuel through filtration and fluid separation. This equipment is designed to maintain the quality and extend the life of stored diesel fuel and thereby improving the reliability of the connected engines.
