FM Approvals Standard 7745, Liquid Leak Detection, specifies requirements for products designed to prevent and mitigate potential damages associated with both water and hydrocarbon leaks. This standard has undergone a revision with new requirements added within each of the following areas;
- Roof leak detection systems
- Systems that learn water usage patterns and detect abnormal usage
- Shut-off valves for when a leak or abnormal usage is detected
