Type of Notification: Counterfeit

FM Approvals has been made aware of a falsified FM Approvals Certificate of Compliance (CoC).  The document (attached as Figure 1) is an image of the falsified CoC misrepresenting “Kunshan Yunboshi Electronic Technology Co., Ltd” as FM Approved.  Kunshan Yunboshi Electronic Technology Co., Ltd has no relationship with FM Approvals.

Address: No. 268 South Wangshan Rd., Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, 215300 P.R. China.

Product Identity: Series 88, 89 and 86, With Manual, Self Close, or Bi-Fold Doors, in any color or permissible variation, in capacities; 12, (2) 12, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 20, 30, (2) 30, 40, 45, 54, 55, 60, 90, & 96 Gallons or Equivalent Liters.

FM Approval Status:  Not FM Approved.

Hazard Involved:  The products described in the falsified CoC in Figure 1 below have never been tested or certified as FM Approved.  Use of products that falsely claim FM Approval may present a property risk for the user.
