Counterfeit Notification for National Fittings Limited for counterfeit pipe fittings

FM Approvals has been made aware of counterfeit pipe fittings found in UAE bearing an FM Approvals mark.  FM Approvals has neither tested nor certified these products.

Product Identity: The fittings bear the marking “NATIONAL” and appear made to resemble fittings manufactured by National Fittings Limited, however, they were not produced by National Fittings Limited.

Description: Grooved elbows, grooved tees and threaded reducers distributed by the Ultimate Trading Co.

FM Approval status: Not FM Approved

Hazard involved: These fittings have not been tested or otherwise evaluated by FM Approvals for reliability, quality or performance.
