Hazard Involved: The product described in this product alert is Approved for use in Class I, II, III, Division 1 Hazardous (Classified) Locations in the US and Canada. It has been determined that under a two-fault condition, an unprotected discharge of an ignition-capable level of energy from the battery pack charging terminals is possible.
It should be noted that product used in Zone 1 Hazardous Locations is not considered to constitute a hazard, since the battery pack remains intrinsically safe under a single-fault condition.
